I started wearing it for walks. Then gardening. Then at the cottage. Now I grab it pretty much anytime I know I'll be outside for a while.

It's light, comfortable and gives me the coverage I want without having to think too much about it.

I love being outside around dusk. Unfortunately, that's usually when the mosquitoes seem to love being outside too.

Instead of sitting there in a T-shirt swatting at my arms every few minutes, I started covering up with my long sleeve.

The long sleeves and hood give me more coverage without having to put on a heavy layer.

Now it stays by the back door all summer.

I spend a lot of time outside, and by early afternoon I was always thinking about the same thing: Did I put on enough sunscreen? Did I miss my neck? Do I need to reapply?

I started wearing a SunGuard hoodie on days I knew I'd be outside for hours. Now I cover my arms, neck and head before I leave and get on with my day.

I still use sunscreen where I'm exposed. There's just a lot less skin to think about.
